False alarms caused by users accidentally pressing an Alert button on their Mobile App is a frequent reason for alerts being issued.

These false alarms can disrupt work and create unnecessary stress for workers, managers and colleagues. Over time they can also desensitise teams resulting in “alarm fatigue” and complacency. Ignoring alarms can lead to dangerously delayed response times in real emergencies.

Trackplot improvements

To reduce the number of false alarms Trackplot has enhanced how Alert buttons on the Trackplot Mobile App work, including the ability to cancel before the alert is sent.

These improvements will inform your Lone and Fieldworking Procedures and ensure real alarms are taken seriously and acted upon.
