Devices

Trackplot's range of lone worker devices include both mobile and satellite communication-based options so workers can keep in touch wherever they are.

You can select a combination of devices for your team to suit each worker’s needs.

1. GPS Devices

1-way and 2-way communication GPS devices are integrated into the Trackplot system. These use GPS and communication satellite networks and do not need mobile phone network connectivity to work. The choice of device depends on the activities each worker undertakes and the risks they are exposed to.

SPOT Gen4

Trackplot has the latest generation SPOT Gen4 GPS tracker integrated, a proven and reliable 1-way communication device. A rugged, pocket-sized device, the SPOT Gen4 is water and dust resistant to IP68 standards and has a simple user interface.

Uses the Globalstar satellite network.

Optional accessories for the SPOT Gen4 include an armband and a car windscreen holder so the GPS Device can be used hands free allowing the lone worker to work / drive whilst the GPS Device is communicating with the satellite network.

SPOT X

Robust 2-way communication GPS Device, the SPOT X has a QWERTY keyboard for ease of messaging, is IP67 waterproof rated and can withstand operating in temperatures of -4F to +140F (-20C to +60C).

This 2-way communication GPS Device enables the lone worker to send pre-defined or custom messages to the Trackplot Portal, Notification Contacts and colleagues.

Uses the Globalstar satellite network.

Bivy Stick

Stay connected anywhere. This small, lightweight 2-way communication GPS Device uses Bluetooth to connect with your smartphone.

Using your Trackplot Mobile App as the interface, you will default to using mobile communications when you have reception, and automatically switch to satellite communications when there is no mobile coverage.

Send messages to the Trackplot Portal and / or to colleagues’ and managers’ GPS Device, smartphone, PC, laptop or tablet.

IP X7 waterproof rated, rugged and shockproof. Weighing only 100 grammes. Long battery life up to 120 hours of operation with standard use.

Uses the Iridium satellite network.

2. Mobile App

Available for both iPhone and Android devices. Simple to use, displaying the worker’s Status and the most important functions on the Home screen.
