Trackplot – certified by Cyber Essentials
Trackplot has again passed and renewed our Cyber Essentials Plus certificate for 21/22.
Cyber Essentials is an official UK wide, government-backed certification that helps companies guard against the most common cyber threats, reducing the risks by at least 80%. This certification demonstrates our commitment to cyber security, giving our customers peace of mind.
Cyber attacks come in many shapes and sizes, but the vast majority are very basic in nature, carried out by relatively unskilled individuals. They’re the digital equivalent of a thief trying your front door to see if it’s unlocked. Our advice is designed to prevent these attacks.
Cyber Essentials offers two levels of certification: Cyber Essentials level 1 is undertaken via self-assessment, Cyber Essentials Plus is the more advanced and comprehensive option which is independently verified.
Trackplot has achieved Cyber Essentials Plus which is the highest level of certification offered under the scheme. The rigorous testing to pass this accreditation means that we have adhered to best practices in IT security.
It requires hands-on technical verification and the following five security controls need to be in place to pass:
- Firewalls
- Secure configuration
- User access controls
- Patch management
- Malware management
