Royal Highland Show 2021 – Technical innovation winners announced
The Royal Highland Show has once again been a virtual affair this year due to the ongoing risks and impact of Covid-19.
At Trackplot, we always keep a close eye on news from the agricultural sector as this is where Trackplot began – we were established as a system to track lone working farmers, enabling them to check in with family even if they were working remotely with no mobile signal.
Trackplot achieved Silver in the Royal Highland Show‘s Technical Innovation Awards in 2010 for our innovative online customer Portal developed as part of our lone worker monitoring system. The medal was awarded in recognition of the security and safety the system provided to agricultural workers in Scotland. This award has accelerated Trackplot into the mainstream with a wide variety of organisations from engineering companies to estates now using our service to keep their lone workers safe. Always moving forward, we particularly enjoy seeing continued innovation and development within the agricultural sector. Trackplot offers our congratulations to all of this year’s winners.
