Trackplot’s Cyber Essentials Plus renewal
This month, Trackplot have passed and renewed our Cyber Essentials Plus certificate. Cyber Essentials is an official UK wide, government-backed certification that helps companies guard against the most common cyber threats and will reduce the risk by at least 80%. It demonstrates our commitment to cyber security.
Cyber Essentials offers two levels: Cyber Essentials level 1 is a self-assessment certification, Cyber Essentials Plus is the more advanced and comprehensive option which is independently verified.
Trackplot have gained Cyber Essentials Plus which is the highest level of certification offered under the scheme. It requires a hands-on technical verification to be performed and the following five technical controls need to be in place to pass:
- Firewalls
- Secure configuration
- User access controls
- Patch Management
- Malware management
