Trackplot’s Cyber Essentials Plus 2020 renewal
This month, Trackplot passed and renewed our Cyber Essentials Plus certificate. It demonstrates our commitment to cyber security.
Cyber Essentials is an official UK wide, government-backed certification that helps companies guard against the most common cyber threats and will reduce the risk by at least 80%.
Cyber Essentials offers organisations two levels of compliance:
- Cyber Essentials level 1 is a self-assessment certification.
- Cyber Essentials Plus is the more advanced and comprehensive option which is independently verified.
Trackplot has gained Cyber Essentials Plus which is the highest level of certification offered under the government scheme. It requires an independent hands-on technical verification to be performed and the following five technical controls need to be in place to pass:
- Firewalls
- Secure configuration
- User access controls
- Patch Management
- Malware management
